Alternative MedicineThe term alternative is self explanatory. It refers to all those news practices that are adopted in medicine and which do not fall in line with traditional European medicine. Before knowing about alternative system of medicine it is very important to have a detailed understanding about their pros and cons. One must bear in mind the fact that they have got many advantages than disadvantages. First of all alternative system of medicines do not have any side effects unlike European medicines. While this may not only be an encouraging fact it is more so important to understand that alternative system of medicine directly deals with the problem in many cases when compared with European system of medicine that lays more emphasis on suppressing the symptoms rather than solving the problem.Having said all this it becomes more important to understand the cons of alternative medicines. It is not very helpful in critical and emergency cases and surgeries. Though there are some exceptions this is the major impact on most of them.
