Siddha Medicine - It Is Sure To Surprise You with Its' Advanced Scientific Techniques!

Siddha Yoga meditation exercises are completely different from normal yoga exercises. In ayurveda siddha yoga, you don't have to exercise, you can rest or sit or lie down instead.
The exercises that your body needs happen automatically according to the needs of the body. This type of automatic exercise is called yogic exercise. This kind of yoga, siddha yoga, is known as the mother of all types of yoga.

Based on the idea of a similarity between the universe and people, siddha medicine is an ancient medical tradition. The media often wonder 'is siddha yoga a cult?' And siddha yoga can be confused with ayurveda because of its healing powers and exercises.

The Basic Principles of Siddha

The medical system of siddha yoga knows two types:
  • Siddha massage
  • Siddha medicine
The treatment as a whole works on removing energy blocks from the body to restore health, bring peace of mind and to prevent or minimise illness. Problems such as cervical spondylitis, skeleto-muscular pains, rheumatic lumbar, back pain, slipped discs and even paralysis are said to be possibly cured by treatment with siddha medicine.

What is Kundalini?

'Kundalini' is the feminine energy (or life) force that lies at the base of the spinal column in the human body. When this power is brought to life through meditation it travels upwards along the spine. The kundalini force, with its strong energetic power, clears all kinds of diseases, relieves stress and can help you get rid of addictions. This force or power is also known as a mother force, because a mother instinctively knows every need of her children. The kundalini force work just like that. As siddha yoga is based on this healing force, hardly anyone who is into this type of yoga will think of leaving siddha yoga.

How is Siddha Yoga Different from Other Yogas?

Siddha yoga (and tamil siddhas ) is quite different from other types of yoga in many ways:

  • Traditional yoga exercises are practiced sitting cross-legged. Siddha Yoga can be practiced in any position.
  • With most types of yoga you have to sit in a specific position and then twist your body into various moves. But with Siddha Yoga meditation, your body will do the exercises automatically.
  • Most yoga forms have long meditation sessions. Most yoga forms are practiced only in the morning and on an empty stomach. Siddha Yoga can be practiced at any time
  • Other yoga is generally done at yoga centre or at home in a particular place. But Siddha Yoga can be done anywhere.
  • Siddha Yoga is absolutely free, you don't have to pay for a teacher.
  • Most types of yoga are practised in the morning and on an empty stomach. siddha yoga however, can be practised on any time of the day.
